Sometimes referred as Nya Ullevi, and built with the purpose to host the 1958 FIFA World Cup, the Ullevi stadium is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. However, since then, it has hosted various other sports events as well as the music programs and concerts. Since its inception in 1958, it has hosted the World Allround Speed Skating Championships six times. Ullevi also hosted the 1995 World Championships Athletics, 2006 European Championships, some matches of UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and UEFA Euro. It also annually hosted the Gothia Cup, which is known for the largest number of participants in the world. Various renowned football clubs such as GAIS, IFK Goteborg, Orgryte IS, and BK Hacken have used the stadium as their home ground at different times.
