The Sports Hub, commonly known as Greenfield International Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium, located in Kariavattom in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India. It was completed in March 2015 at the cost of Rs. 390 crores in an area of 37 acres. It is mainly used for cricket and association football and also hosts National Trophy matches. It is the home stadium of the University of Kerala, the Government of Kerala and the Indian National Football team. It is the first stadium in the country to have been developed on a DBOT basis, which stands for Design-Build-Operate and Transfer. The design of the ground is such that it can be used for international cricket and football matches as the stadium has been constructed by International Cricket Council (ICC) norms and FIFA regulations. It was also formerly known as "Trivandrum International Stadium" and has been designed by Collage Design of Mumbai. Apart from international cricket and football matches, this multi-functional stadium is also capable of hosting cultural and entertainment events.

The stadium is designed and developed by Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited (IL&FS).

Significance

In 2016, it was announced that the stadium would be taken over by Kerala Cricket Association in hope to host few IPL matches in future.
India won the first International football tournament 2015 SAFF championship, hosted by the stadium against Afghanistan the score being 2-1.That year, it hosted SAFF Championship for the first time.
This stadium’s construction started in 2012 and was completed by 2015.
In 2013, the IL&FS KERALA STADIUM also featured in the closing session of the Stadium Business Summit organized in Manchester.
In 2015, it witnessed the opening ceremony of 35th National Games of India
On November 7, 2017, The Sports Hub became the 50th venue for the international cricket competition in India when it hosted the T20I tournament against New Zealand.
