The stadium hosted the friendship series in 2006 between arch-rivals Pakistan and India that competed against each other to support the victims of Pakistan earthquake in 2005.

Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium is located in
Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates. The stadium, being constructed with a total amount of
$23 million, opened its gates in
2004. It has two large stands and can accommodate the capacity for
20,000 people.
Significance
- The stadium hosted its first test match on 20th November 2010 between Pakistan and South Africa, first ODI on 18th April 2006 between Pakistan and India, and first T20I on 10th February 2010 in between Afghanistan and Scotland.
- In 2009, the stadium witnessed numerous matches of Nissan Gulf Cup.
- The stadium hosted the first leg of 2014's Indian Premier League along with two other stadiums, Dubai DSC Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium.
