The stadium was opened in the year 1999 with a name “Cleveland Browns Stadium”. It is owned by the City of Cleveland and operated by a professional American football team "Cleveland Browns". The inaugural match was played between the tenants, Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings on 21st August 1999. This recreational arena was designed and developed by HOK Sport, Ralph Tyler Companies, and Robert P. Madison International.
