The BOK Center or the Bank of Oklahoma Center is a multi-purpose arena and a primary indoor sports venue at Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. The centre has been designed to host events such as arena football, hockey, basketball, and concerts. It was opened on August 30, 2008. The architect of the construction is Cesar Pelli. The venue is managed and operated by SMG. The arena is named for the Bank of Oklahoma (as the bank-owned the naming rights). The arena formerly served as the home for Tulsa Shock of the Women’s National Basketball Association and also the Tulsa Talons of the Arena Football League. The arena will also host NBA preseason games and college basketball matches to boost its popularity.
