There is a track map which shows the elevation change on the circuit. Interestingly, the map was created by using simulation software. It designates which corners are to be taken in which gears and the speed required at that point.
Autodromo Termas is a motorsport circuit, located in the Termas de Rio Hondo in Argentina. The circuit was designed in 2007 by architect Jarno Zaffelli. The circuit went through a major renovation in 2012. Grand Prix motorcycle racing was held in Argentina after 15 years when the circuit hosted the Argentine Grand Prix in 2014. The track is 4.805 km in length and has 14 turns, comprising of nine right corners and five left corners. In the year 2013, the circuit hosted rounds 15 and 16 of the FIA WTCC Race of Argentina, and has also conducted tests rides for the MotoGP.
Significance
- It also hosted the FIA WTCC Race of Argentina in 2014. Citroen C-Elysee was the main car of the event.
- The track also hosted the Turismo Carretera event in 2014. Ford Falcon was the car of the event.
- The circuit hosted the Argentinian TC 2000 Championship in 2013. It was a Chevrolet Cruze event.
- The track witnessed the Argentine motorcycle Grand Prix in 2014. Honda RC213V was the main bike of the event. It also hosted the Argentine Motorcycle Grand Prix in 2014 in Moto2 and Moto3 classes, respectively. Honda Kalex and NSF250RW were the main bikes of these two events.
