The Junior Solheim Cup is a golf competition for girls aged between 12 to 18 years. It is a version of the Solheim Cup and is officially known as "PING Junior Solheim Cup". The competition was held for the first time in 2002 at the Oak Ridge Country Club in Minnesota, USA which was won by the host nation team. They are the current champions as well. The Junior Solheim Cup is held over a span of two days. There are six foursome matches and six fourball matches on the first day. The second day hosts twelve single match events. College and University golfers are not eligible to participate in the competition if they meet the minimum or maximum age cut-offs.
