The Fiji Sports Awards was first introduced in 2011 by a partnership between Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee, Fiji National Sports Commission and Fiji Sports Council. These awards are aimed to honour the contribution and achievements of the athletes, journalists, photographers and administrators of sports in Fiji.
Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC) presents this award to a female athlete of Fiji who is ranked the highest in her sport at either local or international level and has performed exceptionally well throughout the year.
This award is bestowed by FASANOC to a male athlete of Fiji who has the highest ranking in his sport at either local or international level and has performed exceptionally well throughout the year.
This is an honor presented to a young female athlete of Fiji aged 16 or under who has outstanding achievements in that calendar year.
This honor is presented to a young male athlete of Fiji aged 16 or under who has shown outstanding performances and achievements in that calendar year.
This award is given to a sporting federation who has demonstrated sustainable development programs for their athletes at local or international level competitions and has conducted their events in a fair and transparent manner for the benefit of their membership.
This is an accolade presented to a sports team who has demonstrated outstanding performances at local or international level throughout the year.
This award is presented to an individual who has shown excellent administrative skills by organizing and running the sporting events successfully.
This is an award given to an individual technical official who has shown the ability to interpret and execute rules in order to provide benefits to the sport locally or internationally.
Volunteer of the Year is an honor presented to recognize an individual's voluntary efforts for the development of a sport in his country.
FASANOC bestows this award to the most successful coach who has made a significant contribution by training his players to perform better in that year.
This honor is presented to the photographer who has clicked the most outstanding sports pictures of that year either published or unpublished.
