The World Bridge Federation (WBF) is the international governing body of contract bridge.
The organization actively organizes various international events and the World Championship in four years. Some of the famous events are the Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup, Senior Bowl etc. conducted for open teams, women and senior categories.
It is a non-profit organization which is sanctioned under the Switzerland laws. The organization has a total of 123 National Contract Bridge Organization (NBO) with approximately 700,000 affiliated members.
The WBF has its designated congress to which all the National Contract Bridge Organizations (NBO) are required to send one delegate.
