The Kudo International Federation India (KIFI) is the national governing body for Kudo in India. It was founded on 19th October 2011, under Jukucho Takashi Azuma and Shihan Akshay Kumar. The Kudo revolution began in India by Soshihan Mehul Vora, the President of the KIFI Association. On the eve of the 3rd International Invitational Karate-Do Tournament, Akshay Kumar, along with other executive members, hosted a grand celebration for Kudo awareness. That was the first time all six members of Japan champions demonstrated and taught students and provided instructions in India.
