After the first test between New Zealand and the West Indies, ICC released the latest test rankings. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson achieved brilliant results after smashing 251 run innings in Hamilton and tied for the second spot with Indian captain Virat Kohli in the latest ICC Test Rankings.
Williamson gained 74 points, rising from 812 points to 886 points during his recent performance, which is equivalent to Kohli.
His compatriot Tom Latham also made it to top ten rankings, as his 86 run innings helped him to get his career-best points tally of 733. Latham moves to 10th place, replacing India's Ajinkya Rahane (11th).
Steve Smith tops the batting ranking with 1st place, while Virat Kohli is in 2nd place and Cheteshwar Pujara in 7th place for India.
In the top ten bowling rankings, Neil Wagner has moved down first to 2nd place, while Tim Southee has finished at 4th place. Pat Cummins continues to occupy the 1st place, while only Jasprit Bumrah is in 9th place in the top 10 for India.
In the all-rounders' rankings, Jason Holder has moved down first to 2nd place, and now Ben Stokes in the top with 1st place. Ravindra Jadeja is on 3rd place from India, and Ravichandran Ashwin is at 6th place.
