Classifications
It is an international regulation for playing wheelchair basketball in order to match the distinct levels of players’ disabilities. The teams that compete in professional tournaments have a system to evaluate the level of functional abilities of the players on the scale ranging from 1 to 4.5. The players with minimum disability are classified into 4.5 whereas the ones with the maximum disability would be classified as a 1.0. The sum of the points of all the five players on the field must not exceed 14.
Duration Of The Match
This one is also same as that of the regular one. The game is 40 minutes long which is divided into four quarters of 10 minutes each with a shot clock of 24 seconds.
Traveling
It is one of the modified rules as traveling in wheelchair basketball occurs when the player after receiving or dribbling the ball, touches their wheels more than twice. The person should pass, bounce or shoot the ball in order to touch the wheel again.

Scoring in the sport takes place in following manner:-
Fouls
The infringement of the rules that contains illegal personal contact with the opponent player including his/her wheelchair which is also considered as the part of the player. A player who commits five personal fouls shall be replaced by another player in the game.
Out Of Bounds
A player is considered to be out of bounds when any part of his/her body or the wheelchair comes in contact with the floor or outside the boundary.
