The teqball matches are judged according to the best-of-three sets. Each set is comprised of 12 points.
The players/teams have two attempts to finish a successful service. After every four points, the participants swipe their service.
The participants cannot touch or return the ball with the same body part two times in a row.
The participants are allowed to have a maximum of three touches to return the ball by using any body part except hands and arms.
In a doubles event, the teams have a maximum of three touches but the teammates should pass the ball to each other at least once.
During a match, the opponent and table shouldn’t be touched.
The table should have a horizontal length of 3000 mm with 1500 mm (without a net) or 1700 mm width (with net) and a height of 900 mm (with net).
The net should be 1700 mm wide with 20 mm thickness and a height of 140 mm. The net should always be fixed to the table and must be transparent.
The playing court should be rectangular with a height ranging between 500 mm minimum to 1500 mm maximum. The halfway line divides the court into two halves and should be between 20 mm and 50 mm thick.
A spherical ball made of leather or other suitable material is used in the teqball matches. The ball has a circumference of a minimum 67 cm to maximum 69 cm and weighs around 420g to 435 g. It has a pressure ranging between 0.3 and 0.5 atmospheres at sea level.
