The triple jump consists of an approach run, hop, step and jump. If the athlete misses any of them then it is considered as a foul.
The athlete can jump from the take-off board or behind it but cannot jump beyond it.
The jump of an athlete is a foul if he / she touches the ground beyond the take-off board.
If the athlete walks back through the landing area then it is considered as a foul.
The distance should be measured from the take-off point to the back of the heels /to the nearest point in contact with the sand (that is the impression made on the sand).
If the take-off takes place touching the red color plasticine board even then it is considered as a foul.
The judges should show up red flag in case of a foul and a white flag in case of a right jump.
