Penalties are imposed on athletes for making following rule infractions-
Walking on the trampoline’s frame
Showing an unsportsmanlike conduct
Disregarding the rules and regulations
Scoring
The judges score the gymnasts on the basis of the degree of difficulty and the execution of the routine. The total execution scores are calculated by eliminating the highest and the lowest score and then adding the remaining three scores. The time of flight of the gymnasts is calculated electronically which shows a record of actual time spent in the air. After this, all the three (the difficulty, execution and the time of flight) scores are added together to provide the total score for the routine.
