Sailing Rules

• The person in charge of each boat ensures that all competitors in the crew and the boat's owner are aware of their responsibilities. 
• A boat should avoid any contact with another boat as much as possible. 
• When a right of way boat changes course, she shall give the other boat enough room to keep clear.
• A boat should sail towards the pre-start lane marked before the designated starting line or any other extension before the start signal. 
• Onboard, a person is required to assist with every boat landed for sailing. The in-charge person is designated by the member or organization that entered in the ship.
• A boat can only use specific equipment present on board during a preparatory signal.
• No person on board is allowed to leave the match intentionally. 
• Players or responsible authorities can only leave when ill or injured, when they are helping another person or vessel in danger, or during an accidental swim. 
• The competitors are prohibited from using any device intended to position their body's outboard. Only hiking straps and stiffeners that too needed to be worn under the thighs are allowed during the match.
• There is a significant signal using flag and sirens which are required to be followed by every participant.
• During the start of the race, neither the crew nor any part of a boat's hull shall touch the starting mark. The sailors have to set back from the designated starting line.
