A lightweight men’s crew must have an average weight not more than 70kg while for women’s crew, it must be not more than 57kg. An individual lightweight male rower must not weigh more than 72.5kg while a female rower must not weigh more than 59kg.
Penalties
In case of any rule infringements made by a rower or a crew, penalties may be imposed on them in the form of a reprimand, warning, exclusion from the event or disqualification from the regatta.
