All hill-climbing motor vehicles should have a Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) fitted with it.
All the participants are required to wear a safety helmet, flame-resistant overalls along with driving gloves, eye protectors, shoulder harnesses and window netting during the competitions. The participants can take down the window nets and remove the gloves only on completion of the race.
The participants are required to undergo a practice session on separate highway sections.
If the officials project a red flag, the participants have to stop immediately, and the race is halted. The green flag signals the start of the match, whereas the checkered flag indicates the finish.
All the participating race vehicles are required to park below the gateway after an hour of the practice concludes.
All the competitors are required to stay in their allotted pit space only.
All the participants have to remove their vehicles from the racing course or stop driving if any oil leaks or damage occurs to the vehicle.
Each driver is allowed to present only one vehicle for the technical inspection.
