BC Place is a multi-purpose serving stadium, located at Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The construction of the BC Place was started on 19th June 1983 and underwent major renovations in 2009 and 2011. The overall cost of constructing the stadium was $819 million (in 2017 dollars). The architecture firms that built the magnificent stadium are Studio Phillips Barratt, Ltd and Stantec Architecture Ltd. The stadium has served as the stamping ground for BC Lions from 1983 to 2009 and from 2011 till present. It has also been home for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS) from 2011 till present. The stadium is owned by the Province of British Columbia and operated by the BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo).
