 
                It is a British racecourse, located in England’s Ascot, predominantly used for thoroughbred horse racing. It ranks amongst the principal racecourses in the United Kingdom. It hosts nine of Britain’s 32 annual Group 1 horse races. It is a property of the Ascot Racecourse Ltd. and is only six miles away from the Windsor Castle. It is also in association with the British Royal family. It serves for twenty-six days of racing throughout the whole year. The racecourse also features jump racing during winter season.
 Two James Bond movies namely "A View to a Kill" and "Skyfall" featured this historic racecourse. In "A view to a Kill" James Bond begins his mission here to catch villain Max Zorin, whose horse was racing in the course. In "Sky fall" this racecourse was featured as the Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
