Villa Park is a football ground, situated in Aston, England and is the home ground of Aston Villa Football Club since 1897. It has hosted almost sixteen senior levels’ international football matches from 1899 to 2005. The ground was opened in the year 1897 and managed by Aston Villa. After various rounds of renovations and modulations, the stadium is standing in its present day configuration, comprising of four stands. These are the Holte End, Trinity Road Stand, North Stand and the Doug Ellis Stand. It is having a spectator capacity of around 42,682 seats, and its surface comprises of Desso Grassmaster. The stadium has been the host of various other sports as well such as boxing, international rugby league and rugby union matches.
