The O2 Arena (earlier known as the Sazka Arena), stylized as O 2 Arena, is a multi-purpose sports arena in the Prague city of Czech Republic. It is home to the HC Sparta Prague of the Czech Extraliga and is considered as the second-largest ice hockey arena in Europe. It has hosted various stage shows, concerts and other large-scale corporate events. The arena was built on an area of 35 thousand square meters and was opened on the 27th of March 2004. It has a seating capacity of 18,000 spectators and houses 2,460 Club and Luxury seats, 66 Sky boxes,4 Party Boxes, 2,900 seater restaurants and cafés.

The population of O2 Arena’s catchment area ranges from 1.5 to 1.8 million people. Therefore, tickets to watch sports events at this Stadium are always in high demand.
From its opening till 2015, it served as home to ice hockey team "HC Slavia Prague" of the Czech Extraliga.
Significance
In December, the arena hosted the playoff matches of the 2008 Men's World Floorball Cups, where Finland defeated Sweden by 7-6 in the final.
On 30th January 2016, Ellie Goulding performed here in a concert during her "Delirium World Tour".
It has hosted the World Floorball Championships and the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
Barbadian singer Rihanna performed at the arena on 7th December 2011 during her "Loud Tour".
O2 Arena has hosted the Ice Hockey World Championship in 2004 and 2015.
The Euro League Final Four was held here in 2006 in which CSKA Moscow emerged as the winner of the league.
In November 2010, American singer Lady Gaga performed a concert here during one of her famous "Ball Tour".
The historic Gagarin Cup final match was held here in 2014. Dynamo Moscow was the winning team, Sergei Mozyakin being the top scorer.
Jennifer Lopez played here on 26th October 2012 during her "Dance Again World Tour". The show was a complete sold-out.
The legendary English musician "Sting" performed here on 22nd September 2010 along with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
