Murrayfield Stadium is a sports stadium, located in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is the largest stadium in Scotland and the fifth-largest stadium in the United Kingdom. It is also known as BT Murrayfield Stadium. The construction of the stadium was completed in 1925. It mostly hosts rugby union and has also hosted the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup, Pro12 and Heineken Cup matches. It is the home ground of Scottish Rugby Union (SRU), Edinburgh Rugby and formerly the Edinburgh Sevens and Scottish Claymores. Murrayfield is in a rectangular shape, surrounded by 100 meters track. There are 124 seats reserved for disabled supporters and special provision of parking for disabled. During the time of construction, it took two years to build a stand and three embankments. Apart from sporting events, it has also hosted artists such as Tina Turner, U2, The Rolling Stones, Celine Dion, James Brown, Texas, The Proclaimers, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Madonna, One Direction and Foo Fighters.
