The dancers are entirely prohibited from using any doping substance to enhance their ability.
For the couple’s category, a male and a female dancer should participate with appropriate clothing and footwear.
In the team competitions, six to eight couples from each team can participate, but they aren’t allowed to dance in more than one group. The team events can perform their routines for up to 6 minutes.
The dancers in a solo performance are required to participate in eight bars by one dance with a maximum of 24 bars music.
The participants in the Latin American category are required to involve Samba dance form along with Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive. In the standard category, participants are required to include Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Slow Foxtrot in their routine.
In any event, if more than five teams participate, then a second round is held.
The participants are prohibited from changing their dresses or accessories during the competition.
The participants cannot perform their single choreography for more than 90 seconds.
The pairs which experience any technical problem, especially in the music track, they are given another chance to perform. If the problem is not sorted, then the pair is disqualified from the event. The couples are required to perform uniformly.
The dancers shouldn’t stop during their performance. The competitors are required to perform the same choreography with the same music in each round.
The participants shouldn’t use any animals or motor vehicles to enhance scenic beauty.
The dancers are not permitted to include more than one dancer during the competition period.
In a single event, participants from two different age groups can correlatively participate in one event. For example, the Juvenile I and II or Junior I and II can participate in one event.
The participants are not required to perform any lifts during the match. If found guilty, then the official chairperson can disqualify the participants.
