Vietnam International

The Vietnam International is a badminton tournament of international status, held in Vietnam, every year for both men and women. Inaugurated in the year 2000, it has been rated as an International Level Challenge in 2008. The tournament has 5 major events:

• Singles – The first match was played in the year 2000 in which Tam Lok Tin from Hong Kong and Chien Yu-chin from China emerged as winners in men and women singles respectively.
• Doubles – The first match was played in the year 2000 in which Liu Kwok Wa and Wong Tsz Yin from Hong Kong won in men's category and Chen Yueh-Ying and Tsai Chia-Chun from China won in women's category.
• Mixed Doubles – The first match was played in the year 2000, won by Chen Yuan-ting (Chinese Taipei) and Tsai Chia-chun (Chinese Taipei).
