The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) was earlier regarded as the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF). The federation is officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It regulates the sport on an international platform and maintains its official rules. Only the WDSF members are allowed to participate in the official competitions.
