The World Arm-wrestling Federation is an international federation of national and regional arm wrestling associations. It was founded in 1977 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The WAF is the main organizer of the World Arm-wrestling Championships, which is held every year. Currently, WAF has 80 member countries, including India, England, Canada, and China. The organization also hosts the Para Arm-wrestling Championship.
