The international powerlifting federation, often abbreviated as the IPF, is the world governing body of the sport of competitive powerlifting. It is officially recognised by the General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) and the International Olympic Committee (via inclusion into the World Games).
It is a drug tested powerlifting organisation (largest in the world!) which is solely responsible for governing and conducting equipped and unequipped powerlifting matches.
