I don't focus on what I'm up against. I focus on my goals and I try to ignore the rest.

Self-confidence has always been one of my good qualities. I am always very confident. It is in my nature to be confident, to be aggressive. And it applies in my batting as well as wicketkeeping.

I want young girls to dream about being professional soccer players instead of just watching the boys go out and play.

You can't say what the outcome of a competition is going to be, so now I am ready to accept any result that comes my way, if I give my best shot.

Irrespective of whether you have talent or not, one has to work hard. Just being talented doesn't mean anything; you can end up wasting it before you realize.

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.

I am never satisfied with how I perform, I am always looking to work out new strategies.

I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect.
