The UEFA Champions League group stage began with the victory of Juventus over Dynamo Kyiv with a score of 2-0. Credit goes to the double goals scored by Alvaro Morata in the Group G opening held on Tuesday. Juve coach Andrea Pirlo, manager of Europe’s elite club also seems to be happy after his first win with the team. Juventus were facing a tough situation as their star player Cristiano Ronaldo is out after being tested positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski went along with Morata while Federico Chiesa created some early chances of winning. Initially, Juve faced a drawback after Giorgio Chiellini had to be substituted due to hamstring injury in the 19th minute of the match. A brilliant backheel by Aaron Ramsey assisted Kuluseski but the shot was saved. With all the trials and tactics, Kyiv struggled to make a comeback and Juve’s Morata with all his vigour went ahead with two goals and set the stage for victory.
