The non-seeded Indian-American pair will fight for the top honours against top seeds Shuko Aoyama and Ena Shibahara of Japan in a top-notch bout.
Mirza and McHale were in impressive form and made it to the finals without losing a single set in their previous two games.
After the semi-finals, Mirza brought her two-year-old son Izhaan to the court for a post-match chat and talked about how being a mother was a new beginning.
