World champion, professional badminton star PV Sindhu has quit the national camp for Olympic-bound players and landed in London. On Monday, she posted herself on Instagram to share the news and explained that she has to work on her recovery and nutrition in the UK. She is currently working with the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) and has been staying there from the past ten days. Sindhu for the very first time has travelled all alone to overseas and is closely observed by GSSI experts including Rebecca Randell. Sindhu has earlier won a silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Due to the pandemic, Sindhu was massively affected and resumed her training in August.

Meanwhile, she opted out from the Denmark Open Super 750 tournament which is concluded recently. However, the badminton star will participate in the upcoming Thomas and Uber Cup that might be scheduled in October. Sindhu will be staying in London for approx. next two months to train for the Asian Leg of the World tour.
