Six-times World Champion Lewis Hamilton scripted history by becoming the most successful Formula One driver of all time by clinching his 92nd career victory at the Portuguese Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver has overtaken Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 wins to achieve this feat. Hamilton took the chequered flag 25.592 seconds ahead of the runner-up Valtteri Bottas and won the race. Dutch driver Max Verstappen came third for Red Bull.
Hamilton has also got a bonus point for fastest lap in the race and gave him a lead of 77 points over Bottas with five races remaining in the World Championship.
