La Liga: Real Sociedad beat Real Betis, reached on top of the table

On Sunday, Real Sociedad defeated Real Betis and secured the top position in La Liga with a winning score of 3-0. Earlier, Villarreal CF had its temporary stay on position 1st by defeating Valencia with 2-1 score, but Sociedad’s impressive performance and goals difference led them to secure the top position. During the match, Cristian Portu and Adnan Januzaj scored goals and Mikel Oyarzabal converted a penalty. Sociedad took full advantage of this situation and gave Betis their third defeat in the fourth game under their new coach Manuel Pellegrini. Sociedad’s are leading the chart with 11 points in six games followed by Villarreal and Real Madrid.
