The IPL 2020 has to be an excellent season for KL Rahul individually. He is the captain of KXIP and has recently led the team to win against Rohit Sharma’s MI in an exciting second super over in their last match. The historic win has given Rahul a bunch of praises. However, the opening batsman of Punjab has added another feather on his cap by scoring 500+ runs in three consecutive seasons of IPL. He also holds the orange cap with maximum runs in this season as he now has a total of 525 runs in 9 innings. Following him is KXIP’s another star player Mayank Agarwal, the second opener after the captain with 393 runs in 9 innings.

In previous seasons also, KL Rahul has given a stellar performance with 593 runs in IPL 2019 and 659 runs in IPL 2018. Since April 2018, KL Rahul has amassed the most runs which is 1777 with 19 half-centuries; following him is Shikhar Dhawan with 359 runs this season and scoring 1377 runs in total. In the last match, Rahul scored 77 runs in 51 balls embarking a significant contribution to his team’s win. Bottom-ranked Punjab is now ranked up to 6th spot since their last epic victory. Indeed KL Rahul is a star player who has proven himself brilliantly in this IPL season.
