IPL 2020: Kohli suggested change in T-20 cricket amidst wide-ball controversy

During an Instagram live of Virat Kohli with KL Rahul, Kohli described the adverse effects of a wrong call for a wide or waist-height full toss delivery. He also added the need for reviewing such decisions by the captains to reduce the effect of loss. The statement has arrived after the interference of M.S Dhoni, captain of CSK for changing the umpire’s decision, which did not go well with some fans and the cricket fraternity. However, the official rule of the IPL states that the decision of an Umpire once made is final, however, he/she may alter it but it should be prompt. On this, RCB’s captain Kohli described how minor missing impacts a team’s winning campaign in this fast-paced sport and adds a subsequent loss to the team.
