The advent of coronavirus has taken millions of people in its trap. Recently, Indian para-archer Ankit is tested positive for COVID-19 during the national camp at the Sports Authority of India’s (SAI) Northern Regional Centre. Ankit is now admitted to the Bhagwandas Hospital Sonepat for proper treatment and routine monitoring of the vitals. The national camp for para-archers began on October 5th. All other players have reported to the centre after submitting their COVID-19 negative RT-PCR test report. SAI conducted re-testing of all athletes on October 12th where Ankit was tested positive. According to SAI, he was immediately shifted into the isolation ward created above the SAI NRC medical centre.
