ICC Awards of the Decade: King Kohli wins Player of the Decade, MS Dhoni bags Spirit of Cricket award
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced its very first edition of the Awards of the Decade today to honour the best players and moments of the last ten years of the international cricket. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has won the Men’s ODI Player of the Decade award for his outstanding performance in the limited-overs format as well as the Player of the Decade award. Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry sweeps the women's category and bagged three awards.
MS Dhoni has been honoured with the Spirit of the Cricket award of the decade for his gesture of bringing back English batsman Ian Bell after he got run out strangely at the 2011 Nottingham Test.
