Dhoni’s impact on cricket: Umpire changes mind on wide call in IPL

MS Dhoni and Shardul Thakur of CSK expressed their disappointment over umpire Paul Reiffel call for a wide. During the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Tuesday, the umpire changed his mind for a wide ball call to not wide. In the first few seconds, Reiffel stretched his arms to indicate the 19th over the ball as a wide but later altered the decision into not-wide. The opposition captain David Warner also responded angrily after witnessing the change of mind. SRH at that time required 25 runs to win in 11 balls.
