David Warner bagged a huge milestone in the Indian Premier League this season. He successfully smashed Virat Kohli’s record and scored the fastest 5000 runs in IPL. The Sunrisers Hyderabad captain is the fourth player to score 5000 runs in the entire history of IPL. He added this feather in his cap during his 135th innings while Kohli has done it in 157 innings. He is also the first overseas cricketer to score 5k runs in the IPL leaving Virat Kohli on second, Suresh Raina on third and Rohit Sharma on fourth standings. The 5000th run was scored during the last match of SRH against Kolkata Knight Riders which went for a super over. However, SRH lost the match, but their performance was invincible and had brought some good news to the captain.
