The Paris Masters victory on Sunday gave Daniil Medvedev one more joyous moment to celebrate as he has overtaken Roger Federer in the latest ATP singles rankings released on Monday and moved him to the fourth place.
Swiss star Federer has moved one rank down as he sat out most of this season because of knee surgery and Medvedev climbed up after the 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 win against Alexander Zverev on Sunday.
The Serbian star player Novak Djokovic is on top of the list as he ended the year as No. 1 in open era record sixth time, equalling legend Pete Sampras’ record.
