Geethu Anna Jose

Geethu Anna Jose was born on 30^th June 1985. She is a basketball player from India and a former captain of the Indian Women’s National Basketball team.

Her Achievements:-

• Bagged a silver medal at 2005 Asian Basketball Confederation Championship for senior women, held in Japan
• Entitled as the Most Valuable Player, Best Player, Top Scorer, Top rebounder and the Most Popular Player, at the 2005 Invitation Tournament. It was held in Phuket.
• Won the Most Valuable Player Award, Top Scorer award, rebounder and best shot-blocker awards, at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. The event was held in Australia.
• Won in Pool-B at the 2007 FIBA Asia Championship for Women, held in Incheon, South Korea
• Bagged a gold medal in the First Phuket International Invitational Basketball Championship in 2006. It was held in Thailand.
• Received the Arjuna Award in 2014
