Sir Bradley Wiggins

Sir Bradley Marc Wiggins was born on 28th April 1980. He is a former professional road and track cyclist who has represented Great Britain in several international cycling events. He is the only rider who holds a record of cycling the longest distance within an hour and the only athlete to win the Olympic as well as World Championship on both track and road cycling. 

His Achievements:-

• 2002-Clinched two silver medals at the Commonwealth Games, held in Manchester
• 2004-Bagged three medals (gold, silver and bronze) at the Olympic Games, held in Athens
• 2007-Won two gold medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, held in Palma de Mallorca
• 2008 -Won three gold medals at the World Championships, held in Manchester
• 2011- Bagged a silver medal at the UCI Road World Championships, held in Copenhagen
• 2012 - Won a gold medal in Time trial at the Olympic Games, held in London
• 2016 - Won a gold medal at the Summer Olympic Games, held in Rio de Janerio
