Talasha Prabhu

Talasha Prabhu, born on 01 May, 1993, in Goa, India, is a skilled swimmer. From a young age, she fell in love with the water, finding joy and freedom in swimming. Talasha's dedication to the sport saw her spending countless hours training in pools and open waters. Her hard work paid off when she started competing in local swim meets, where she showcased her talent and determination. With each stroke, Talasha proved her prowess, eventually earning a spot in national swimming competitions. Her journey inspires others to dive into their passions fearlessly, showing that with perseverance, anyone can make waves in their chosen field.

Here is a brief description of her achievements:-

• Talasha was selected for Indian Swim Team to participate at the Commonwealth Youth Games from 12^th October to 18^th October, 2008 held at Pune, India
• She had her first international meet held in Pakistan, where she swam & won a gold in 50 meters for freestyle swimming in U-14 section at the 1st South Asian Aquatic Championship which was held in Islamabad in September 2007
• She completed her performance within 29.04 sec in her first global meet
• She is India’s fastest female swimmer, who took 26.97 seconds, close to Shikha Tandon at Asian Games 2014 in 50m freestyle match
