Ali Sami Yen SporKompleksi -Türk Telekom Arena is one of the premier stadiums, located on the European side of Istanbul. This is the first ever stadium in Turkey that completey met the requirements of the UEFA Euro 2016 during the selection for hosting the European Championship. In fact, this stadium is the home ground for the Super Lig Club Galatasaray SK. The stadium came into existence in 2007 and a grand inauguration ceremony followed after the opening of the stadium on 13th December 2007 which was an honorable moment in the history of Turkey and Istanbul sports. The memorable ceremony witnessed the auspicious presence of the Minister of Sports of Turkey along with few other ministers and eminent players of the football clubs. However, the construction and renovation went on till 2011 and finally it opened on 15th January 2011. The stadium is said to support the spectator capacity of almost 52,65 and has been transformed into a concert hall various times.
