New Hampshire Motor Speedway is an oval-shaped Speedway, situated in Loudon, New Hampshire. The construction began on 13th August 1989, took a year to complete and finally opened its gate to the spectators in 1990 on 5th June. Speedway Motorsports, Inc. owns and manages it. The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is often referred as the "The Magic Mile" and was known as the Bryar Motorsport Park from the year 1960 to 1989. Later, it was called the New Hampshire International Speedway from the year 1990 to 2007.

Trivia

The stadium stands where once the Bryar Motorsports Park stood. It was later purchased and redeveloped by Bob Bahre. As of 2017, it is one of the eight major NASCAR tracks.
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway has hosted the longest-running motorcycle race in North America, the Loudon Classic.

Significance

The track has been hosting the "24 Hours of Lemons" race series since the year 2011.
The 2012 Global RallyCross Championship was organized by the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
It also held the NASCAR Xfinity Series in the years 2009 and 2013.
The track hosted the Indy Racing League from the year 1996 to 1998.
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway played host to the Round 3 of the inaugural Trans-Am Series which was held here in the year 1966.
On 9th February 1990, the Speedway hosted the NASCAR Sportsman Division.
It has also hosted the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in the years 1997 and 2014.
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was conducted at the racetrack in the years 2001, 2011, 2014 and 2015.
It also played host to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in the years 2001 and 2011.
