The Boardwalk Hall contains the world’s largest musical instrument, the "Poseidon". It has over 33,000 pipes, eight chambers, seven manuals, over 1000 stop keys and one of two 64-foot stops.

Edward L. Bader, (the then mayor of the Atlantic City), led the initiative to conquer the land for the Convention Hall, now Boardwalk Hall. It was under construction at the time of his death.
Formerly known as the Historic Atlantic City Convention Hall, the Boardwalk Hall is located in Atlantic City, United States. It was built in 1926. It was Atlantic City’s primary convention hall until the establishment of the Atlantic City Convention Hall in 1997. The hall was designed by architectural firm Lockwood Greene and was opened in 1929. It has a capacity of 10,500 for ice hockey and a maximum capacity of 14,770 for concerts. It is the home of the Miss America Pageant. The arena has hosted several musical concerts by renowned artists and bands such as The Beatles, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyoncé.
Significance
- The hall has witnessed the 1964 Liberty Bowl game, broadcasted worldwide.
- WrestleMania IV and V of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) were held in this arena in the years 1988 and 1989, respectively.
- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matches were held at the Boardwalk Hall.
- In an indoor soccer match, Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals lost to New York Ukrainians by 3-2 on 12th December 1965.
- Mike Tyson fought here several times as the Heavyweight Champion, including four of the seven defenses as Undisputed Champion.
- From 2001 to 2005, the Hall hosted the ice-hockey team Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. From 2011-2013, ECAC Hockey conducted the men’s Hockey Championship here.
- From 2007 to 2012, the Atlantic 10 Conference (a collegiate athletic conference) held its Men’s Basketball Championship here.
- In 2012, the American Hockey League hosted its All-star Classic hockey match in the arena.
