Slovenian Sports Person Of The Year

Instituted in 1968, Slovenian Sports Person Of The Year award is annually given to the best sportsperson of Slovenia in male category as well as in female category on the basis of the votes casted by the Slovenian sports reporters for the best sportsperson of the previous year. Until 1991, Slovenia was the part of SFR Yugoslavia as the Socialist Republic of Slovenia.
