Woodball Rules

• All the participants are required to complete the entire match by first passing the ball through the 12th fairway or its multiple fairways. The final result depends upon the total strokes count in the whole round.
• If any participant can't complete any one of the fairways or due to any reason discontinue playing, then his/her result isn't counted at the end.
• The players should follow the referee's announcement to begin the match, and if they arrive 5 minutes late or refuse to participate for the match, then the referee has the power to disqualify them immediately.
• No participant is allowed to place the mallet between their legs while scoring a goal through the gates.
• A penalty stroke is awarded when the participant's ball can't pass through the marked 30 meters passing line.
• All the participants are required to hit the ball within 10 seconds once the referee signals to start. 
• The participants are required to hit the ball with the top or bottom end of the mallet. The participants are entirely prohibited from hitting the ball with the aid of mallet's side head, or the shaft. 
• The participants will be awarded a penalty if they push the ball with their mallet. 
• During the play, the participants are forbidden to touch the balls and gates with any part of the body. 
• The players are allowed to change their mallet during a match after an inspection, conducted by the organizer. 
• The ball used in the match has a diameter of 9.5 m and weighs around 350 grams. The mallet used by the players should be around 90 cm long and consist of a bottle-shaped head at the striking end.
• The participants are awarded a penalty stroke if their respective mallet bumps the gate during gating. 
• The players are not permitted to adjust the fairway ground from the front or behind of the ball in play before the shot.
• The participants are required to precede the ball to the fairway while playing on the curving fairways.
• The participants are awarded a penalty strike if they hit the ball out of bounds, i.e. when they hit the ball on the fairway, and it rolls through the boundary line but doesn't touch that line.
