1) The athlete has to fill in the weight next to his name in the scoring form.
2) Maximum three trials are allowed at any particular height.
3) The athlete is automatically removed after three consecutive misses.
4) Trial Time Limitation Rules
1) No artificial aid or weights are allowed in the competition.
2) Use of shoes with special features (advantages) is strictly prohibited and ultimately results in unfair play practice.
3) No taping is allowed on any part of the fingers except in the case of wound whereas taping at the wrist is allowed.
4) No athlete is allowed to use the other competitor’s pole without permission.
5) The planting box must be checked properly to make sure that it is free from any foreign substance.
1) Displacing the crossbar from its original position with the help of pole or the athlete’s body is considered as a foul.
2) Failing to cross the crossbar after being lifted up from the ground.
3) Touching any part of ground or landing part with either the pole or by the body without clearing the bar is considered as foul.
4) Incorrect position while crossing the crossbar.
5) If the athlete fails to begin an attempt within the specified time, he/she is charged with a time foul and his/her attempt is missed.
6) Coordinate the work of the judges and validate the attempt of the athletes by indicating a fair jump with a white flag and a foul jump with a red flag.
